Commonly Asked Questions //

What type of conditions can Chiropractors treat?

Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) care for patients of all ages, with a variety of health conditions. DCs are especially well known for their expertise in caring for patients with back pain, neck pain and headaches; particularly with their highly skilled manipulations or chiropractic adjustments. They also care for patients with a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, involving the muscles, ligaments and joints. These painful conditions often involve or impact the nervous system, which can cause referred pain and dysfunction distant to the region of injury. The benefits of chiropractic care extend to general health issues, as well, since our body structure affects our overall function. DCs also counsel patients on diet, nutrition, exercise, healthy habits, and occupational and lifestyle modification.

Karminski Chiropractic is entirely insurance independent. We will submit a claim on your behalf and if our services are covered by your plan your insurance carrier will reimburse you directly. Please be aware that payment is due in full at the time of the visit.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Debit and Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).

What should I expect from my first visit?

Your visit will begin with a detailed history, to help us better understand your current condition. This is followed by a thorough physical, neurologic and orthopedic examination (depending on your case). This will allow us to assess your:

  • Range of Motion

  • Flexibility

  • Muscle Weakness

  • Muscle Contraction

  • Areas of Pain

We will also use several tests to stress your muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints to determine their level of function as well as identify potential pain generators.

Depending on your case, we may need to order laboratory or imaging studies. To help us better understand your past care, please bring copies of your most recent lab and imaging reports (if available) with you on your first visit.

After we have a complete picture of your current condition we will then discuss our findings and treatment options with you.
